If you intend to register for Independent Research (i.e. STME 4901, 4902, 4903, 5330, 5400, 5411, 5413 or 5555; and ID 5800) in the School of Integrative Science & Technology, we ask that you complete the brief survey below.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no longer a need for you to complete any registration forms. If needed, we will use your responses to complete the forms that are submitted to the Registrar: the initial Registration Petition (linked HERE), the Independent Study Application/Registration Authorization form (linked HERE for undergraduates and HERE for graduate students) and the Application for Graduate Thesis – ID 5800 form (linked HERE).

 As a final step in the registration process, you and your research mentor should work together to complete an IST Research Proposal. You'll find a Microsoft Word template linked HERE. Please be sure to provide information for all sections, including the header, the Course Metrics, Research Proposal, Bibliography, Budget and Signatures. Please email your completed form to vmule@kean.edu. Please NOTE: ID 5800 students should upload a detailed thesis description as stipulated on the ID 5800 form.
