Spring 2025 Freshman Research Initiative (FRI) Student Application This is a 6-week introductory research or creative experience with a Kean faculty mentor. Participation in FRI provides first-year students an opportunity to work on independent research projects outside of the classroom and connects them to future research and scholarly opportunities. Students do not need prior research experience to enter this program.
